Rubberhog® Round Buzzout Wheels for Tire Repair & Tread Preparation

Rubberhog® Round Buzzout Wheels are commonly used for tread-area buzzouts during tire repair and section repair preparation. Their fully rounded profile allows technicians to remove damaged rubber and clean repair areas while maintaining good control during the operation.

These wheels are frequently used on fabric and bias tires, where they perform well when cleaning and preparing repair cavities in the tread area. They are also useful for skiving high-tread repair areas on radial tires, helping technicians prepare the repair zone prior to installing repair materials.

The free-cutting design allows efficient rubber removal while maintaining long tool life in demanding repair environments.

Because of their cutting action, these wheels are not recommended for contact with steel cord, making them best suited for tread-area preparation where exposed steel belts are not present.
