Rubberhog® Original Flared Contour Wheels are widely used for preparing tire surfaces prior to repair. Their flared contour design allows technicians to keep a larger portion of the wheel in contact with the tire surface, helping produce a smooth, evenly textured buffed area.

This larger contact area helps reduce dips and gouges during buffing while maintaining excellent control over the repair preparation process.

In passenger and light truck tire repair, these wheels are commonly used for buffing the inner liner prior to patch installation. Coarser grades are also used in truck and OTR tire repairs to prepare section repairs or clean up larger repair areas.

The durable tungsten-carbide cutting structure removes rubber efficiently while maintaining consistent performance in demanding tire repair environments.
